Program Information
Sammy's Summer Club - Kid Central Edition offers a day camp experience during the summer season. Children will enjoy sports, games, art and crafts, playground time, and weekly special events, all based on our awesome summer themes!
- Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9 am to 4 pm (excluding holidays and staff service days)
- Extended Care Hours: Monday- Friday, 7am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm (available at Johnson Recreation Center, Youth Center and Wackford locations only for additional fee)
- Ages: Children entering grades K-5, ages 5 to 11 years

Registration
Initial registration for all Kid Central programs can be completed online or over the phone with registration staff at (916) 405-5600. Registration must be completed at least 1 day in advance. There is no membership fee for Summer Camp.
What to Bring
Children must bring the following items to enjoy a fun day at summer camp. Please be aware there is no access to a microwave, fridge, or stove. Clothing, backpacks, lunch bags and other items such as water bottles, towels, and sunscreen, should be marked with their first and last name.
- Backpack that Can Be Easily Toted Throughout the Day
- Closed-Toe Shoes (No Flip Flops or Sandals Allowed)
- Refillable Water Bottle(s)
- Healthy Beverage(s)
- Healthy Snack(s)
- Healthy, Ready-to-Eat Lunch (that does not need to be refrigerated or heated)
- Sun Block
- Towel
