When vacancies occur, the top three (3) candidates from the ranked list will be referred to the hiring manager for the selection interview process. Candidates will receive notification from hr to determine interest in the position. Once notified, candidates have three (3) calendar days to respond.
All candidates referred are determined to be qualified, and upon completion of the selection interview process, the hiring manager may select any eligible candidate referred from the Eligibility List. For example, if there are six (6) names on the list, the District must first choose from numbers 1, 2, or 3; if number 3 is selected, the second hire must be made from numbers 1, 2, or 4, et cetera.
If an additional vacancy in the same workgroup exists within ninety (90) days of the initial interview, the hiring manager may elect to forego the selection interview process.
