Special Events - Fire Permits

Cosumnes Fire Department provides trained, professional personnel to inspect any special event conducted within the jurisdiction of the Cosumnes Fire Department to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for both the citizens and visitors to our community.

Special Event Permits

It may be necessary to submit plans to the Cosumnes Fire Department for your upcoming special events, such as a fair, festival, carnival, wedding, ceremony, or special business / retail event. Any party looking to hold a special event shall follow the required permitting and event guidelines put into place by the Cosumnes Fire Department.   

Application and Guidelines

Submit all documents to the Fire Department via the online portal.

  • Complete an application in the portal (Helpful information on using the Portal).
  • Upload a site map of the event to the application "submissions".
  • Pay appropriate fees for the event, if necessary.
  • Include pertinent information regarding the event in your application.
  • If the event is in a District park or facility, complete a Large Event Rental Application and submit it separately (external link).
