All households are encouraged to develop an emergency supplies kit for use in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. Your kit should contain items that will allow your family to sustain themselves without assistance for at least 72 hours.

  • Clothing and bedding
  • Dust mask
  • Extra batteries
  • First aid kit
  • Flashlights, batteries, and a radio
  • Important family documents
  • Manual can opener

  • Non-Prescription Medications
  • Special items for infants or the elderly
  • Toilet paper
  • Toiletries and sanitation supplies
