Warm nights and great tunes are back this Summer with a twist! Cosumnes CSD is searching for Amateur Performers of Elk Grove. If you've got talent, come show it off at Sammy's Star Search!

Submit your application and if you have YouTube or Facebook links provide them in the application, upload your videos to Instagram and TikTok, tag us @CosumnesParkRec, and use the hashtag #ShineWithSammy. Get your friends to share your videos too!

• Performers of all kinds and ages are welcome.
• Youth ages: Solo performers and bands are welcome.
• Adult ages 18 and up: Solo or duos only. No adult bands.
• Stage time is dependent on how many participants apply and is NOT guaranteed.

Performance Line-Up

• August 7: Concert in the Park - Band Genre TBD.
• August 14: Sammy's Star Search - Amateur artists of all ages take the stage.
• August 28: Dive-in Concert - Concert at the pool at WackFord Aquatic Complex (9014 Bruceville Rd, Elk Grove CA 95758)

Concert Information and Etiquette

For the comfort and safety of all guests, please note the following:

• Blanket Policy: No blankets or lawn chairs are allowed in the amphitheater before 5 pm. Items placed before 5 pm will be removed.
• Please be courteous with blanket size per person/family.
• Only low-back lawn chairs with a seat no higher than 9" off the ground are permitted. High-back chairs will be advised to move to the back of the amphitheater.
• Please allow others space and a good view.
• Smoking is not permitted in the amphitheater.
• No pets are permitted except service animals. 
• Please keep walkways and stairs clear; dancing is permitted in front of the stage only.
• No guests are permitted on stage or backstage.

Minor Curfew

Cosumnes CSD and Elk Grove Police Department remind residents that the 10 pm city curfew for minors will be enforced during this event. For safety reasons, Alvin and Amy Bartholomew Park, located southeast of Laguna Town Hall, will be close at 5:30 pm on each event date.
