AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Grove Teen Center After School Program prides itself on providing opportunities for your teen to develop responsibility and respect through recreational activities and learning experiences. 

  • Active outdoor games and sports
  • Creative art projects

  • Social and project-based clubs
  • Computers, video games, basketball, ping pong, billiards, and foosball
  • Snack bar

  • Monday - Friday, 2 - 6:30 pm

  • The Grove Teen Center, located inside the Wackford Complex, 9014 Bruceville Road

Registration

  • Teen Center After School registration for the 2025-26 school year is open.
  • Membership fee is $200 for the academic year.
  • The semester drop-in fee is $120 per semester.
  • The monthly drop-in fee is $40 per month.
  • The weekly drop-in fee is $25 per week.
  • Register online, in person, or by calling 916-405-5600.

Teen Taxi

The Grove Teen Center operates a fee-based taxi service for active After School Program participants attending Toby Johnson, Harriet Eddy, or Elizabeth Pinkerton middle schools. Every day after school, Teen Center employees will pick up participants in front of the school and drop them off at The Grove Teen Center. View the 25-26 Teen Taxi Schedule (PDF).

  • Teen Taxi registration for the 2025-26 school year is open.
  • The annual fee is $85.
  • Teen Taxi is not available or included with weekly or monthly drop-in registration.

TEEN PATHWAYS

Teen Pathways, which is funded by Measure E, creates experiences for young people beyond school hours. Our goal is to create a fun and safe community for teenagers to connect with each other and explore new things. We are dedicated to providing an environment that is tailored specifically to their needs, where they can make lasting memories together.

TEEN SUMMER CAMP

Our summer day camp for teens is located at The Grove Teen Center and includes daily swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, nature walks, and a themed party each week. Campers should bring a water bottle, money for the snack bar, and a healthy, ready-to-eat lunch that does not require refrigeration. If campers plan on swimming at the pool, they should bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen.
